It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Scott Lee on May 4th, 2024, at the age of 46. He was born on July 8th, 1977, to his beloved parents, the late Paul Lee and Phyllis Henry.
Jason leaves behind a legacy of love and positivity, cherished by his devoted wife, Brandy Lee (Sidwell), their two sons, Reuben and Nathan, and his sidekick Cutie. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, including his in-laws: Don and Patty Sidwell, and Bob and Dolly Sherwood; his sisters-in-law: Rachel Penaflor (Javier), Courtney Stogsdill (Josh Shane), and Bobbi Sherwood; as well as his siblings: Amanda Noe (Aaron), Michael Lee (Peggy), Daniel Lee, Rena Abbott (Gordon), and Kimberly Lee. Jason also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Jason's life was a testament to his unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his resilient spirit. Despite facing numerous challenges, he greeted each day with an infectious smile and a positive attitude. He found joy in working on classic cars, spending time with his cherished dog, Cutie, drag racing, and exploring the beauty of Wayne County. Above all, Jason treasured moments with his family, especially his beloved wife and sons.
For many years, Jason dedicated himself to his work at Advance Auto Parts before joining the family business at Sidwell Storage/Rentals in Monticello. He was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Lake Cumberland, or The Wayne County Animal Control/Shelter.
Jason's impact on those around him was profound, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We will forever cherish his memory and the love he shared with each person he encountered.
