Janice Lucille Bell was born August 30, 1942, and departed this life Wednesday, July 22, 2026, reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late John Preston and Ethel (Harmon) Kinnett.

She married Jack Milton Bell on December 25th and to this union two daughters were born.

She is survived by: two daughters, Lisa McEldowney (Anthony) and Jackie Perkins (Douglas); two grandchildren, Aaron Perkins and Abi Perkins. She is also survived by: one brother, Phillip Kinnett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, John and Ethel Kinnett, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Jack Bell; one brother, Danny Lee Kinnett; and one sister, Shirley McGinnis.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Immanuel Baptist Church between 9 am – 11 am. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
