Jane Jones was born March 3, 1931 and departed this life Monday, July 24, 2012 reaching the age of 81. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Gertrude (Ragan) Denney.

She was united in marriage to Arthur Charles Jones and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: 1 son, Jr. Jones of Monticello, KY; 1 daughter, Theresa Jones of Monticello, KY; and 1 sister, Mildred Ramsey of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Marion and Gertrude Denney, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Arthur Jones; 6 brothers, Hack, Roy, Jep, Don, Earnest, and Tom Denney; and 3 sisters, Bonnie Lyons, Mollie Bertram, and Georgia Baker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Nelson and Bro. Ernest Mann officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
