Jamie Sweet was born July 27, 1977 and departed this life September 10, 2008 reaching the age of 31 years. He was the son of Betty Dawes and the late Grady Sweet.

He is survived by: his mother- Betty Dawes of Monticello, KY, 1 brother- Johnny Sweet of Monticello, KY, and 1 sister- Betty Sue Mercer of Monticello, KY, 2 step brothers, Charlie and Daniel Dawes of Monticello, KY. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother- Elizabeth Sweet of Monticello, KY and his maternal grandparents, Lou Gregory and Hershel Dobbs all of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his father- Grady Sweet, his paternal grandfather- Arlin Sweet, and his maternal step grandfather, Donald Gregory.

He was a loving son, brother, grandson, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: Friday, September 12th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 13th at 1 pm
Interment: Parnell Baptist Church
