James Wallace was born March 7, 1937, and departed this life Friday, April 15, 2022, reaching the age of 85 years. He was the son of the late William H. "Bill" and Artie (Goodman) Wallace.

He is survived by: his wife, Evelyn (Coffey) Wallace; sons, Danny (Connie Dishman) Wallace, Tommy Wallace, Everette Wallace and J.C. (Sherry Lynn) Wallace; daughters, Addis (Joe) Dishman, Cathy (David) Stinson, Lorene (Randy) Sexton, Mary (Willy) Dishman and Geraldine (Kevin) Kennedy; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Lee Wallace.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 1 pm at the Dishman Cemetery Shelter house.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: James Wallace Memorial Fund.
