James Stinson was born June 15, 1942 and departed this life Tuesday, March 2, 2021 reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Chester and Luella Stinson.
He is survived by: his wife, Janice Stinson; children, James Edwin Stinson (Tammy), Charlotte Bertram (Robert) and Joey Stinson; grandchildren, Matthew Stinson, Amber Nevels, Mandie Stinson, Jacob Bertram and Hannah Stinson; great grandchildren, Mattilyn, Zeplyn, and Ivan. He is also survived by: his siblings, Larry Stinson (Joyce), Phillip Stinson (Delores), Ray B. Stinson (Rebecca), Eddie Stinson (Joyce), Evelyn Ferrell, Virgie Buck (Howard), Betty Phillips (Robert), and Virginia Stinson (Larry); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Chester and Luella Stinson, he was preceded in death by: siblings, Junior Stinson, Everett Stinson and Roy Stinson; grandchildren, James Stinson, Mara Stinson, Garon Bertram and Gunnar Bertram.
Funeral services will be private for family only. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
