James William Sexton, age 75, of Erie, Pa., passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 as a result of an auto accident in Medina, Ohio. He was born March 7, 1940 in Monticello, KY. to William W. and Hannah Watson Sexton.

Survivors include two sons- Jim and Michael Sexton; 4 daughters- Sherry Sexton, Teresa Folmer, Susie Plymire, and Dr. Shawna Sexton; and 1 brother- Bruce Sexton. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren- Jeffrey, Chad, Nicholas, Shania, Brianna, Kayla, Jamie, Justin, Kaylee, Tristen, Samantha, Vince, Jessica, Dylan, Jimmy John, Kara, Mitchell, Nicole, Ricky, Amanda, Liam, and Madeline; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandchild- Zachary Wadding

He was loved by so many people and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed sitting outside talking with family and friends, watching and attending NASCAR and dirt track races with his brother and cousins, going to camp, 4-wheeling in the mountains, and grilling out with good food with his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will also be Saturday at 1 pm at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, KY. Military Honors will be performed by members of Disabled American Veterans Unit 105.
