James Ray Neeley, formerly of Richmond, was born March 14, 1946 and departed this life Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late James and Doris (Robertson) Neeley.


He is survived by: his wife, Gail Neeley of Monticello, KY; two sons, Christopher Neeley of Dallas, TX and J. Nicholas Neeley of Louisville, KY; two step sons Ray (Tonya) McClellan and Larry (Virginia) McClellan, one brother, Carl Gene (Helen) Neeley of Berea, KY, 11 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.


James was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherrie Lea Neeley.


A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Manse Cemetery at Paint Lick, KY. The family requests that visitors please bring your own chair.
