James Harold McManus was born on April 24, 1941 to Will and Leona Stones McManus in Union County, North Carolina and passed away on September 22, 2020 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, KY.

He is survived by, one brother, Clarence McManus of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, and his companion Betty J. Morris of Monticello, KY.

He was preceded in death by, 2 sisters, Mary Miles and Lennie Stranes of North Carolina; and 3 brothers, Joe Stranes and Daniel McCall and Aubry McManus, all of North Carolina.

He is also survived by 3 stepchildren, Joe Carson, Debbie and Becky of Long Island, North Carolina.

Friends may call at 12 pm until 2 pm until the service in the funeral home chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home, and burial will be at the Elk Spring Cemetery, with Bro. Dewey Burk officiating.
