JAMES H. McCUNE was born September 2, 1929 in Baring, Missouri and departed this life Saturday, September 11th, 2004, reaching the age of 75 years .
He was the son of Charles M. McCune and Hazel Early McCune.
He was united in marriage to Nadine Abbott.
He is survived by his wife Nadine and one daughter-Anne and husband Joe Sawyer of Monticello, KY. He is survived by one sister-Mary Elizabeth Hetzler of Quincy, Illinois. He is survived by four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son-Michael James McCune and one brother who died in infancy.
He was a member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church of Monticello, KY.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Monday, September 13th, 2004 in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 14th, 2004 at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Stevenson officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
