James Robert Massengale was born May 17, 1947 and departed this life Wednesday, August 10, 2022 reaching the age of 75 years. He was the son of the late Carl and Estelle (Woody) Massengale.

He is survived by: his wife, Carlene (Piercy) Massengale; one daughter, Julie Ann Massengale; and one brother, Johnny Massengale (Brenda); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Carl and Estell Massengale, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Mikeal Massengale; and three sisters, Wanda Bybee, Carolyn Troxell, and Marla Conley.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 15, 2022 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
