JAMES "CHESTER" LOWE was born July 6, 1935 and departed this life November 15, 2006 reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Ova Lowe and Lona Dishman Lowe.

He was united in marriage to Nell Esther Dishman Lowe who preceded him in death. He later married Rener Kennedy.

He is survived by three sons, Bobby (Melissa), Jimmy (Joyce), and Johnny (Sheila) Lowe all of Monticello, KY; two daughters, Judy (Terry) Dobbs and Linda (Joe) Carter both of Monticello, KY; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Junior Lowe of Monticello, KY; and two sisters, Vena Raines of Russell Springs, KY and Ruth Ann Dishman of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Mae Lowe who died as a child.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 18th at 1 pm
Interment: Dishman Cemetery
