James Estil "Jug" Sexton was born February 27, 1941 and departed this life Saturday, November 17, 2012 reaching the age of 71. He was the son of the late Shade and Sara (Crabtree) Sexton.

He is survived by: his wife, Ina Joyce (Piercy) Sexton; 1 son, James Alvin Sexton; 2 daughters, Judy Ellen Clark and Angela Sexton; 1 step daughter, Tonya Morris; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 3 sisters, Annabelle Dobbs, Lena Sexton, and Edna Mae Hughs; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Shade and Sara Sexton, he was preceded in death by: his 1st wife, Molly Jewel (Hunley) Sexton; and 1 brother, Charles Ray Sexton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Oral Denney officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
