James Richard "Hoppy" Casada, was born January 2, 1950 and departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2015 having reached the age of 65 years. He was the son of the late Melvin Payton Casada & Willie Bee (Jones) Casada.

He is survived by: his wife, Janice (Baker) Casada; 1 son, James "Richard" Casada; 3 daughters, Shannon Davis, Wilma West, & Sara Beth Casada Blakely; 1 brother, Melvin Cassada, Jr.; 3 sisters, Barbara Jean Mosley, Barbara Ann Henry, and Michelle Mitchell; 8 grandchildren, Terri Quesinberry, Lana Davis, Kiara West, Jason West, Timeka West, Keegan Mason Blakely, Tristan Baker, and Shyanne Baker; 5 great grandchildren, Sabrina Quesinberry, Ava Quesinberry, Sophia Quesinberry, Ashton West, and soon-to-be Emma Quesinberry; and 1 great great grandchild, Leah Slaughter.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Melvin & Willie Bee Casada; 1 brother, Michael Joe Jones; and 1 grandchild, Dalton West.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 11am-2pm in the chapel of the funeral home with funeral services being held at 2pm.

Full military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
