James Edgar Clark was born January 5, 1911 in Tennessee and departed this life Saturday, October 26th, 2002, reaching the age of 91 years. He was the son of John Clark and Edna Koger Clark.

He was united in marriage to Mary Adkins Clark.

He is survived by his wife Mary, two sons-David Wayne Clark of Nevada and Eddie Patrick Clark of Monticello, KY and 12 step children. He is survived by 41 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters-Coral Lee Rotton and Edna Scofield, three brothers-Ernest Clark, Anthony Clark, and John William "Willie" Clark and three sisters-Gladys Humble, Wilma Spurlock, and Ruby Clark.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Monday, October 28th, 2002 in the chapel of the Marvin Hicks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Adkins officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
