Obituary
James Mike Brown was born April 12, 1950 and departed this life Monday, October 6, 2014 reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late William Henry "Bill" and Emma Mae (Brummett) Brown.
He is survived by: his wife, Christine (Pennycuff) Brown; step son, Dennis James Watson (fiancée, Saundra Cross); grandchildren, Renee, Clint, and DJ Watson. He is also survived by: brothers, Henry and Robert Brown; sister, Eva Jane Conn; and special nephew, Bryan (Penny) Brown and their son, Hunter; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Bill and Emma Brown, he was preceded in death by his step son, George Lee Watson; and sister, Elenora Brown.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2pm at the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
