James "Frank" Blevins was born April 19, 1937 and departed this life Tuesday, June 30, 2020 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Joe Sam and Lena (Stinson) Blevins.

He married Evelyn Lowe and to this union one son was born.

He is survived by: his wife, Evelyn Blevins; one son, Roger (Tabitha) Blevins; one sister, Louise Dishman; two grandchildren, Brenda Sloane and Madison Hope Blevins; step grandchild, Mandy McClellan: three great grandchildren, Justin, Makayla, and Nicholas; and step great grandchildren, Xander and Bentley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Joe Sam and Lena Blevins, he was preceded in death by one brother, J. E. Blevins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2020 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
