Obituary
JAMES HASSEL BENTLEY was born June 17, 1927 and departed this life January 26, 2005 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of Hillard Bentley and Agnes Bentley.
He was united in marriage to Betty Dillow and to this union one daughter was born.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bentley of Monticello, KY; his daughter, Bettnia (Mike) Fryman of Cynthiana; one granddaughter, Kyra (James) Garrison of Cynthiana, KY; two great grandchildren, Anna and Joshua Garrison of Cynthiana, KY; and one sister, Bonnie (Bobby) Blevins of Campbellsville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Agnes Bentley; and one brother, Eugene Bentley; and one sister Doris Rose.
He was a WW II Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a retired C & O Railroad employee.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation: Friday, January 28 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 29 at 10 AM
Interment: Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, KY
