Jackie Davis was born June 16, 1948 and departed this life Sunday, October 21, 2012 reaching the age of 64. He was the son of the late Thomas Dick Davis and Ruth (Carroll) Davis Wallace.

He is survived by: his wife, Bonnie (Hunley) Davis; 3 daughters, Tabitha Blevins, Crystal Ridge, and Heather Stogsdill; 6 grandchildren, Mandy McClellan, Tanner Ridge, MacKenzie Stogsdill, Taylor Davis, Dhaigun Stogsdill, Madison Blevins; and 2 great grandchildren, Xander and Bentley McClellan. He is also survived by: 1 brother, Sammy Davis; and 2 sisters, Treasa Skinner and Debbie Guffey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Thomas Davis and Ruth Wallace, he was preceded in death by: his children, Quint Allen Davis and Tanya Parmley; 2 brothers, Joe and Harold; and 3 sisters, Wanda "June" Perdue, Betty Wallace, and Dorothy Brummett.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Davis Family Cemetery.
