Obituary
Jack Sharp was born March 4, 1944 and departed this life Sunday, May 22, 2011 reaching the age of 67. He was the son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Thompson) Sharp.
He is survived by: 2 daughters, Debbie Baker and Brenda Kempton both of Monticello, KY; and 2 grandchildren, Kassie and Matt Kempton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Hugh and Elizabeth Sharp, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Cecil Sharp; and 3 sisters, Ethel Hickman, Louella Souders, and Ruth Sharp.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Burnette and Bro. David Frost officiating. Burial will be in Sharp Cemetery.
