Irene Poore Dishman was born April 7, 1958, and departed this life Saturday, July 8, 2023, reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Thelma (Hollars) Poore.

She is survived by: her daughter, Sunshine Dishman; one son, Stevie Dishman; two grandchildren, Dakota Reed Baker (Amber) and Aspen Ruth Baker (Austin Decker); and one great grandchild, Wyatt Baker. She is also survived by:  one sister, Martha Chaplin (Paul); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Howard and Thelma Poore, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Donnie Dishman; and two brothers, William Howard "Bubby" Poore and Eddie Poore.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
