Ina Rose Locker was born August 29, 1948 and departed this life Tuesday, February 9, 2021 reaching the age of 72 years. She was the daughter of the late William R. and Emma Lee (Smith) Miller.

She is survived by: 2 daughters, Deloris Hisle and Sherri Thompson; 1 son, John Allen Locker; 1 sister, Georgia Fay Parmley; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband Gerald Eugene "Jerry" Locker; 1 son, Gerald Calvin Locker; 2 sisters, Anna Mae Masters and Shirley Floyd; and 3 brothers, Ethard, Luther and Kenneth Miller.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 1 pm until 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Roger's Grove Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
