Ina Allene Edwards Vaughn was born February 19, 1939 and departed this life Wednesday, January 08, 2014 reaching the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Dorothy (Daniels) Edwards.

She is survived by: sons, Allen, Noel, and Freddy Vaughn; daughters, Joy McGinnis, Teresa Munsey, and Beth Boston; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: brothers, Glen, Carl Lynn, Roy, and Jack Edwards; and sisters, Louise Edwards, Alta Jean Goldsborough, and Matilda Sue Edwards McGuire; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Oscar and Dorothy Edwards, she was preceded in death by: her son, James Vaughn; brothers, Wayman, Billy, and Bobby Dean Edwards; and sister, Lois Gregory; two grandsons, Michael Scott Vaughn and Jason Tyler Rose.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 5 – 9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: American Cancer Society - Relay for Life or Edwards Chapel Cemetery Fund.
