Ina Marie Denney was born May 4, 1931, and departed this life Wednesday, September 13, 2023, reaching the age of 92 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane (Waters) Atkinson.

She married James Ralph Denney and to this union two daughters were born.

She is survived by: two daughters, Wanda Denney McKinley (Bill) and Judy Denney Adams (Larry); four grandchildren, Tabatha Page, Ashley Byers, Billy Daffron and Stephanie Keith; and six great grandchildren, Jadeon, Garrett, and Regan Page, Ella, Mazzy and Mila Daffron.

She is also survived by:  one brother, Donnie Atkinson; and two sisters, Betty Carter and Shirley Asberry; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Ralph Denney; two grandchildren, Jamon Guthrie and Greg Daffron; three brothers, Ellis Lee Atkinson, Willard Atkinson, and Lyle Atkinson; and two sisters, Linda Sue Atkinson and Wilma Carter.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17, 2023 between 5 pm – 9 pm (EST) in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2 pm (EST) at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Facebook Livestream will be available at 1:45 p.m. (EST). Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
