Ina Ruth Ball was born September 7, 1941, and departed this life Tuesday, February 14, 2023, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Denton Lee and Lena (Jones) Flynn.

She married William Jackson Ball and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by: two sons, Glenn Ball and Mark Ball (Mary Lou); one daughter, Lena King (Robert); one brother, J.C. Flynn; six grandchildren, William King, Tony Lee, Bethany Luanne, Brian, Aaron, and Ian Ball; and four 4 great grandchildren, Mitchell Eller, Zane, Kobi, and Skylar Ball; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, William Jackson Ball; one grandson, Cody Ball; three brothers, Ledford, Lester, and Eddie Arnold Flynn; and four sisters, Clonie Anderson, Edna Mae Rose, Stella Strunk, and Ruby Stiffler.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2023, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
