IMOGENE CARTER was born September 8, 1916 and departed this life October 10, 2003 reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of Jesse Booher and Martha Helen Higgenbotham Booher.

She was united in marriage to Earl Carter and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by two sons – Allan Carter of Lakeland, FL, Ray Carter of Limestone, FL and one daughter – Martha Anderson of Seminole, FL, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Earl, and her parents – Jesse and Martha.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 11:00 am Monday, October 13, 2003
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be Monday, October 6 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
