Obituary
Hubert Smith was born January 17, 1928 and departed this life Sunday, March 7, 2010 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Robert Henry and Zona (Jones) Smith.
He is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Louise (Hines) Smith of Frazier, KY; 3 sons, Richard Smith of Frazier, KY, Bruce (Brenda) Smith of Louisville, KY, and David (Debbie) Smith of Somerset, KY; and 1 daughter, Sandra (Eddie) Bell; 12 grandchildren, Richard Lee Jr., Sam, Dawn, Tyler, Megan, Melissa, Scott, Molly, Greg, Bridget, Michael, and Andrew; and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 brother, Charles (Donna) Smith of Indiana; and 1 sister, Edna Keith of Frazier, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Zona Smith, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Larry Dean Smith; 1 grandchild, Sabra Ann Smith; and 3 brothers, Harold, Bobby Gene, and Tommy Smith.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 9th after 4 pm, Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 10th at 12 pm, Liberty Baptist Church
Interment: Taylor Cemetery
