Obituary
Howard Dishman was born August 1, 1920 and departed this life Thursday, December 11, 2014 reaching the age of 94 years. He was the son of the late M. and Lindy (Stinson) Dishman.
He married Mary (Hicks) Dishman and to this union eleven children were born.
He is survived by: two sons, Bill and Bob Dishman; four daughters, Jewellene Brown, Evelyn Dishman, Pauline Hicks, and Allene Catron; 29 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary (Hicks) Dishman; five sons, Harold, Willard, Darrell, Leonard, and Ray Dean Dishman; four brothers, Menzo, Hubert, Birdie Ray, Elvis Dishman; and four sisters, Tellie Brown, Elvie Brown,Alice Piercy and Delphie Dishman; one grandchild; and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
