Obituary
Howard Coffey was born March 28, 1931 and departed this life Tuesday, July 21, 2015 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Alfred Wilburn and Nancy Ethel Coffey.
He is survived by: two sons, Cantrall Coffey and Trevor Coffey: six daughters, Sherri Jo Crossland, Theresa Gibbs, Elaine Taylor, Patti Callis, Nancy Miller, and Lori Coffey; three step children: Brenda Lovell, Pam Parmley, and Robin Weaver: 19 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: three sisters, Barbara Phelan, Juanita Wampler, and Anna Margaret Mason; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Alfred and Nancy Coffey, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Cleo Coffey; and one step son, Kirby Barnett
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 25, 2015 after 10am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Full military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
