Obituary
Homer C. Pyles was born on February 19, 1939 to the late Charlie & Bertha (Goodman) Pyles and departed this life on Saturday evening, July 9, 2016 having reached the age of 77 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Rina Kay (Bell) Pyles; 2 sons, Thomas Pyles and Cosby Boston; 2 grandchildren, Hallie Pyles and Cody Boston; 1 brother, Conley Pyles; and 2 sisters, Evelyn Stinson and Ruth Castle.
In addition to his parents Charlie & Bertha Pyles he is preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Donald and Hobart Pyles; and 2 sisters, Betty Conn and Kathy Piercy.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Donny Pyle and Bro. Joey Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Canada's Creek Baptist Church.
