Obituary
HOMER EUGENE ELLIS was born November 27th, 1931 in McCreary County, Kentucky and departed this life Friday, November 5th, 2004, reaching the age of 72 years. He was the son of the late Napolean Ellis and Leatha Davenport Ellis.
He was united in marriage to Sue Tucker Ellis, and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by his wife Sue, two sons-Ronnie and Robert Ellis, both of Monticello, KY. and three grandchildren-Ronnie Ellis, Jr., Robert Ellis and Sara Ellis. He is also survived by two brothers-Harold Ellis of Augusta, Georgia and Phillip Ellis of London, KY, along with several relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 6 PM on Sunday, November 7th, 2004 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, November 8th, 2004 at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro.Leroy Hammond and Bro. Wendell Morrow officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
