HERBERT TROXELL was born January 5, 1937 and departed this life August 24, 2005 reaching the age of 68 years. He was the son of William P. Troxell and Nona Ellen New Troxell.

He was united in marriage to Earlene Stringer and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by his wife, Earlene Troxell of Monticello; one son, Steve Troxell of Somerset; one daughter, Sandy Troxell of Monticello; three grandchildren, Cristie Hall, Jeremiah Prince and Gavin Coffey; two great grandchildren, Austin Edens and Ashton Hall.

He is also survived by two sisters, Ina Walker of Indianapolis, IN and Evalene Koontz of Monticello; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nona Troxell; seven brothers, Hobert, Howard, Frank, Herman, Erstil, Harvey, and Wesley Troxell; and two sisters, Marie Barnett and Stella Starnes.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Thursday, August 25 after 6 pm and Friday, August 26 after 8 am
Funeral Service: Friday, August 26 at 1 pm
Interment: Spann Hill Baptist Church Cemetery
