Hearvie Peercy was born October 3, 1934 and departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2014 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Pascal and Bertha (Hancock) Peercy.

He married Joyce Atkinson and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by: one son, Junior Lee Peercy (wife, Caroline); and two grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Pascal and Bertha Peercy, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Joyce Peercy; brothers, Herbert and Ed Peercy; and sisters, Dollie Mae Burchett, Lula Peercy, and Viola Dishman.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29th, 2014 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
