Obituary
Hazel Rains was born September 3, 1943 and departed this life Tuesday, March 12, 2013 reaching the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Matilda (Jones) Owens.
She was united in marriage to Eugene Rains and to this union 1 child was born.
She is survived by: 3 grandchildren, Chastity, Chelsea, and Chasten Adams; 2 brothers, Leonard and Klemons Owens; and 4 sisters, Dorothy Shelton, Ruby Marcum, Viola Hancock, and Jean Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Vernon and Matilda Owens, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Eugene Rains; her daughter, Tammy Rednour; and 1 brother, Cecil Owens.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Bertram officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
