Hazel Marie Roberts Bryant was born February 22, 1950 and departed this life Wednesday, January 6, 2021 reaching the age of 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Luther Auburn and Stella Mae (Phillips) Roberts.

She is survived by: three children, Donna Thomas (Brian), Michael Morris (Sherry) and Frank Turner, Jr.; one sister, Ruby Ellis; four brothers, Donald, David, Bobby, and Kay Roberts; six grandchildren, Chelsea & Felecia Neal, Cody & Savannah Morris, Summer & Shayla Turner; and three great grandchildren, Chloe Prince, Amelia and Kinzley Morris; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Toni Lutrell, Gladys South, Betty Perry, and Anna Faye Burnette; five brothers, Raymond, Charlie, Arnold, Clayton and Herbert Roberts.

Hazel accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of Newtown Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 10, 2021 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
