Obituary
Hattie Hicks was born March 14, 1934 and departed this life Monday, October 12, 2009 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Tilda Jane (Stinson) Pyles.
She is survived by: 1 son, Paul Hicks of Monticello, KY 3 daughters, Kathy Cooper and Brenda Hicks both of Alpha, KY and Jessie Hancock of Monticello, KY, 15 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Grady Pyles of Monticello, KY, and 2 sisters, Lillie Stinson of Monticello, KY and Mildred Evans of Albany, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond Hicks, 2 brothers, Willy and Claude Pyles, and 3 sisters, Antha Rains, Altha Koger, and Lila Hicks.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 14th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 15th at 2 pm
Interment: Hicks Cemetery
