Obituary
HARVEY JOE "RAY" MAYS III was born August 1, 1942 and departed this life December 8, 2006 reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late Harvey Joe Mays II and Mildred Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mays; one son, Joe Mays; 2 daughters, Damita Jo Beavers and Jill Mays; and 2 brothers, Bobby and Johnny Mays. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Jesse and Lawrence Mays.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Sunday, December 10th, 2006, after 5:30 pm in the funeral home chapel
Funeral Service: Monday, December 11th, 2006, at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
