Harold Wilson Turner, age 73, was born March 3, 1944 the son of the late Leonard Wilson and Gladys (Smith) Turner. He passed from this life into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene (Morrow) Turner. His son, Lance Wilson (Kristi) Turner and his daughter, Carissa Gayle Turner. Also surviving are his grandchildren Lane Wilson Turner and Jade Alexandria Turner along with his great-granddaughter, Leightyn Everlee Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Vanessa Jade Turner.

He retired from the Wayne County School System in 1997 after 30 years. After retirement, he continued employment on a part time basis with the school system. Following this, he began part time in an administrative position for the Wayne County Fiscal Court and EMS.

He accepted Christ as His Savior at a very early age and was a lifelong member of the Parmley's Grove Baptist Church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Parmley's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017 between 5 pm - 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and Sunday, November 26 at Parmley's Grove Baptist Church from 10 am – 2 pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2 pm at the Parmley's Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
