Harold Eugene Sullivan was born January 29, 1938 and departed this life Sunday, October 2, 2011 reaching the age of 73. He was the son of the late Oliver and Lona (Brumley) Sullivan.

He is survived by: his wife, Hazel Sullivan of Monticello, KY; 2 sons, Harold, Jr. and David Sullivan; 3 daughters, Ruby Foster, Brenda Smith and Joyce Shepherd; 3 step children, Debbie Gregory, Jamie Gregory, and Patsy Carrender; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 brother, David Sullivan; 3 sisters, Mary Ett Sullivan, Juanita Vaughn and Linda Sullivan; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Oliver and Lona Sullivan, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Oliver Sullivan, Jr.; and 1 sister, Leila Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hollars and Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Piney Woods Mission Church Cemetery.
