Harold V. Hicks was born June 30, 1940, and departed this life Saturday, June 12, 2021, reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Ralph Hicks and Genevieve Barger Huff.

He is survived by: ­­­2 sons, Sam and Danny Johnson; 3 daughters, Dibi Grant, Linda Locklear, and Brenda Guffey; 1 sister, Marjorie Hicks Fry; along with a host of family and friends who mourns his passing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Hicks; 3 sons, Kenny Johnson, Terry Landgrabe, and Jerry Grant; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Robert Leroy Hicks; and 1 step-son-in-law, Earl Locklear.

He was a loving father, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 11 am at the Old Bethel Church Cemetery.
