Harold Edward Gilmore was born December 31, 1936 and departed this life Thursday, March 17, 2022 reaching the age of 85 years. He was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Barnett) Galimore.

He is survived by: two sons, Stephen Gilmore and Tim Gilmore; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He is also survived by sisters, Cletas Coffman and Bernice; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Joyce Gilmore; one brother, Thomas Galimore; and sisters, Marie Schisler and Isabelle Stephens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 between 10 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Mills Springs National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 38.
