Obituary
Harlan Paul Hancock was born January 21, 1936 and departed this life Tuesday, September 30, 2014 reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Daniels) Hancock.
He is survived by: three sisters, Ruth Rains of Monticello, Eula Faye Massengale of Monticello, and Ima Jean Zipoy of Richardson, Tx; as well as a host of family and friends who will mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Robert and Mary (Daniels) Hancock; one brother Clyde Hancock; also two sisters Clara Jane Hancock and Beulah Hancock.
He was a loving brother, uncle, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2014 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
Military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
