Greely McGinnis was born July 28, 1932 and departed this life Sunday, February 26, 2017 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Walter and Pearl (Stinson) McGinnis.

He is survived by: four sons, Jerry (Sue), Lonnie (Maybell), James (Stacy), and Stevie (Georgia) McGinnis; seven daughters, Judy (James) Catron, Betsy (Kenny) Mullins, Annie (Ronnie) Crabtree, Nancy (Ronnie) Gray, Betty (Gene) Logan, Connie (Richard) Hancock, and Bonnie (Ray) Brown; 36 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Walter and Pearl McGinnis, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Lee Dishman McGinnis; two sons, Lenzie and Jimmy McGinnis; two brothers, Fred and Grady McGinnis; and four sisters, Flossie Odell, Mossie Stinson, Roxie Kennedy, and Dorothy Dishman.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
