Grady Pyles was born April 12, 1936 and departed this life February 5, 2021 reaching the age of 84 years old.  He was the son of Eugene and Tilda Pyles.

He is survived by: three children, Larry Dean (Kathy) Pyles, Sheila (Ronnie) Dishman and Connie (Kenny) Terry; one sister, Lillie Stinson; 6 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to his parents, Eugene and Tilda Pyles, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewellean (Lowe) Pyles: daughter, Polly Jane Pyles; two brothers, Willie and Claude Pyles; and four sisters, Hattie Hicks, Antha Rains, Alta Koger,  Lily Hicks and Mildred Evans.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pyles Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
