Gradie Dishman was born September 14, 1940 and departed this life Sunday, February 2, 2020 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Toomie and Dellie (Hicks) Dishman.

He married Grace Peavie and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Grace Dishman; two daughters, Cathy Dishman and Sue Dishman; two grandchildren, Jessica Dishman and Sarah Beth Beaty; two step grandchildren, Tylor Dishman and Lee Ann Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Jaycee Dishman and Elijah Hancock; and three step great-grandchildren, Natalie Dishman, Maddie Grace Dishman and Emery Bennett.  He is also survived by:  one brother, Lonnie Dishman; one sister, Pauline McGinnis; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Toomie and Dellie Dishman, he was preceded in death by: four brothers, Trammel, Delmer, Don, and Bill Dishman; and two sisters, Jewel Burkhart and Betty Burnett.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 between 4 pm – 8 pm at Soul Harbor Church of God.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 10 am at Soul Harbor Church of God. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
