Grace White was born April 9, 1918 and departed this life Saturday, March 5, 2011 reaching the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Lois (Brown) Doss.

She is survived by: 2 brothers, Bobby (Dona) Doss of Monticello, KY and Charles (Grace) Doss of Jamestown, TN; and 2 Fannie (Don) Murphy of Hamilton, OH, Judy (Cecil) McCreary of Henderson, TN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Lee and Lois Doss, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Rudy White; siblings, Everett Doss, Ethel Doss, Jewell Rains, Christine Warner, Claude Doss, and Sam (Pete) Doss.


The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
