Obituary
Grace Gibbs Lamb was born January 3, 1907 in Adel, Georgia and departed this life Friday, February 14th, 2003, reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of Steve Bowen Gibbs and the step daughter of Lovester Shaw Gibbs.
She was united in marriage to Armond L. Lamb and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nadine Gentry of Monticello, KY and Gladys and John Griner of Lenox, GA, one sister-Betty Folsom of Sparks, GA, and one brother-Jimmy Gibbs of Adel, GA. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Somerset Church of Christ.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, February 18th, 2003 in the chapel of the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka, Florida.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 19th, 2003 at 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Palatka, Florida.
