Glenn Taylor was born May 24, 1945 and departed this life Wednesday, May 4, 2016 reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Tony and Flonnie (Smith) Taylor.

He is survived by: his fiancée, Clara Preat; daughter, Diana Hess; stepson, Donny Allen; one grandchild, Danielle Hess; and great grandchild, Cameron. He is also survived by: brothers, Willard Taylor and Ronnie Taylor; and his aunt, Viles Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Tony and Flonnie Taylor, he was preceded in death by: one grandchild, Danny Wilson; brothers, Ralph, Ward, Charles, and Bobby Taylor; and sisters, Beatrice and Joyce Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2016 after 10 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
