GLEN PARMLEY was born July 14, 1930 and departed this life July 7, 2007 reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late Myles Parmley and Martha Humble Parmley.

He married Hazel Edwards and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Hazel Parmley; three children, Keith Parmley and his fiancée, Elizabeth Haun of Monticello, KY, Nancy Carter of Monticello, KY, and Roger (Pam) Parmley of Monticello, KY; seven grandchildren; Lucas Carter, Rachel Dishman, Mattie Wells, Seth Parmley, Matthew Parmley, Coby Carter, and Leah Bertram; six great grandchildren, Draven Smith, Kaitlyn Dishman, Miles Parmley, Emily Dishman, Hailey Bertram, and Ethan Wells. He is also survived by three brother, James, Olen, and Donald Parmley; and four sisters, Mary Smith, Eva Whitt, Lela Daniels, and Jean Britt; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Miles and Martha Parmley; five infant siblings, Earl, Mattie, Betty, Elmer and Roy.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 11 at 11 am
Interment: Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery
