Obituary
GLEN ELWOOD BERTRAM was born May 10, 1919 and departed this life January 20, 2007 reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Benton Bertram and Amanda Hicks Bertram.
He is survived by one son, Troy Bertram of Greenwood, IN; four grandchildren, Todd, Ryan, and Jerrod Bertram, and Courtney Keith; and nine great grandchildren, Brittany, Alexis, Tyler, Jacob, Christian, Clayton, and Corbin Bertram, Jaylen and Austin Keith. He is also survived by a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Bertram; one son, Laymon Bertram; his parents, Benton and Amanda Bertram; and one sister, Alene Wethington.
He was a WWII Veteran who served in Northern Ireland, North Africa, Sicily, Italy, and England. He servied 28 months in these countries and in 5 invasions.
He was a loving father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 23rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 24th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
